Dr. Jennifer Ducie is a board-certified Obstetrician/Gynecologist and Gynecologic Oncologist practicing in Omaha, NE. She dedicates her professional time to delivering exceptional care to patients with complex gynecologic conditions and gynecologic cancers. She offers both medical and surgical management for benign and malignant gynecologic conditions, specializing in minimally invasive surgical techniques. She also treats patients with breast cancer who need therapeutic or risk-reducing surgical procedures (to help reduce the risk of cancer recurrence or reduce the risk of developing other cancers). Recognizing that a cancer diagnosis can be terrifying and overwhelming, Dr. Ducie strives to provide each patient with the most current evidence-based medical information, in an honest and sensitive manner, to give them back control and perhaps a bit of relief by empowering them with knowledge and action. Her practice is evidence-based but with a person centered approach and healing mindset. In her spare time, she enjoys hiking with her family in the nearby White Mountains, and coaching her niece’s 1st grade soccer team.

Carolyn has been a physician assistant for over a decade, having started her career in the adult internal medicine setting, where she managed her own panel of patients. She managed chronic diseases, acute visits and well visits. In 2020, Carolyn moved into medical oncology with a specialty in breast cancer at Dana Farber Cancer Institute where she had previously completed a rotation and volunteered. She always had a passion for the subspeciality of oncology. She works in collaboration with two medical oncologists to manage patients through their chemotherapy treatments and survivorship. She manages side effects of chemotherapy and other treatments and sees patients for acute visits and complaints. When she is not at Dana Farber, she enjoys spending time with family and friends. She also enjoys gardening, the Red Sox and running.

She is the co-chair of Symptom Intervention for Alliance Clinical Trials and is immediate Past President of MASCC, an international organization devoted to improving cancer supportive care throughout the globe. Clinically she treats men and women with all stages of breast cancer with a focus on personalizing all aspects of cancer care incorporating latest advances in therapeutics as well as optimization of symptom management strategies. Her research is centered on biomarkers of therapeutic response and cancer treatment related toxicities.
